This time last week
I do this for me
I’ve been extremely busy lately, so posting might be sporadic until I can come up for air. I’m trying not to feel stressed about that; after all, I do this for me.
And as I remind myself of that, I guess I could say it out loud: I do this for me. I write here because it’s fun for me, and I will stop writing when it stops being fun. I try as hard as I can to write for me and not to be swayed by who might or might not be reading.
I’m not saying I pretend no one is out there. I hope you do read and enjoy the blog. I imagine I write for myself but with an audience. And I hope that’s not too much of a contradiction.
I wonder
I wonder how long it’s been since I’ve stayed up till midnight.
I wonder if I’ll make it tonight.
I wonder how bad I’ll feel in the morning if I do.
