How much do you spend on Netflix?

December 23, 2008 ·

This is a really cool site, via lifehacker, that says how much you pay per movie in your Netflix subscription.

I’ve been better about Netflix before, but lately I’ve been slacking off (and it didn’t help that someone in my house opened up the movie I stuck in the outgoing mail pile yesterday, so I’ll end up having it all week before I can send it back with another movie).

Apparently, I’m currently paying $3.96 per movie. Yikes! I’ve got to do better about sending movies back.

What’s your turnover time?

Being a bachelor at the moment, Netflix is my best friend! In fact, I wrote a blog on it recently: http://www.themcnewspaper.com/2008/12/nothin-but-netflix.html

    My cost-per-movie is $0.69.

btw, I have the 3-at-a-time plan ($16.99/month) and put a movie back in the mail the next day. That way, the other two are either on their way or already in my mailbox.

I have the four-at-a-time plan, and I made it average my ‘per movie rate’ based on my entire rental history. Ended up with $1.89 a flick.
