Ohmygoodness!
For some reason I couldn’t get this video to work my first few tries this week, but I never closed the window. Thank goodness for that.
My patience was worth it.

It was interesting reading the interpretations of the song. It’s definitely an answer to the Who’s My Generation “I hope that I die before I get old” Most people seem to lean toward the song being about a death row inmate but after reading one perceptive person’s interpretation, I am certain they are wrong. The song is about a bottle of wine.
Of course it could be about multiple things. TMBG is known for throwing out the double (or triple) entendre.

I definitely have a lot more TMBG to buy. I’ve only got three of their albums (Severe Tire Damage, Flood, and whatever the new one’s called).
Edit: oh yeah, I have another one that I’ve never listed to. What’s up with that?

Don’t Let’s Start got me hooked on TMBG. I think I actually caught it no MTV. You know, they used to do music on MTV.

They play it on WNCW and on pandora. I love that song, but I don’t even know what album it’s on.
Whistling in the Dark got me hooked on TMBG.
