Insurance question

Anybody know anything about Aflac (other than what you can get from the commercials)?
Is it a good deal?

Jon,
I personaly don’t know anything about Afflac, but being as me and my son have been in 3 separate wrecks lately……..Go for the good insurance. I have Hartford which is somewhat expensive but well worth it. In the instances were we were not at falt, the other parties had Geico and Direct. It was PURE HELL trying to get what we deserved. I hate paying the higher price, but for us it works best.

Well, as for our regular insurance, we have the “good” insurance, or at least the best we can (BCBS). But I’ve discovered over the past year just how little the good insurance covers when it can get away with it.
But for auto insurance we use Safeco, which seems to be a really good company.

Aflac is REALLY good for the major stuff (anything requiring a hospital stay or causing you to be disabled) but I’m not sure it would be worth it for you two. That said, I have a friend who just had heart surgery and was very relieved to not have to worry about missing paychecks or meeting deductibles, as there was a nice check waiting for him when he got home from the hospital.
