Question for you weather geeks

Is it possible that I, using the powerful force of Murphy and his set of laws, might be creating weather patterns?
Am I ever going to get to paint the rest of my fence? Must it always rain on the weekends?
At least I guess I’ll get some work done on the new bedroom upstairs.
