I try to follow the credo of my Grandfather: “You’re supposed to get eight hours of sleep, but nine feels so good I try to get ten.”

When you find out let me know! LOL! I need at least 7-9 hours! My husband and mom can live on 5-6…crazy!

If it’s any consolation,I used to have to get 8-10 hrs of sleep to feel good. Now that I’ve gotten older (almost 50) I need much less sleep. My friends have also discovered this change in themselves. One friend used to get by on 4-5 hrs a night. Now, she needs a good 8 hrs!

I’ve noticed this year that I can do all right on 7, sometimes 6, when I used to need a solid 9. I have a feeling the number will keep decreasing as I get older.

I keep expecting this decreasing need for sleep, but it hasn’t happened yet!
