Jealousy

I am *so* jealous of my wife at this moment. She’s at home with the fence crew - I guess they want to triple check that they’re at the right place before they put a fence in the ground! I’m sure that Katie will only be there for a few more minutes, but I am just dying to see the fence and see the progress.

Let’s see … I have an hour long lunch break, and the drive is about thirty minutes … nah. But I definitely won’t be staying late today!

I can’t wait to see pics! If we see a flash this afternoon we’ll know it’s just you hurrying home to see the fence.

Woot. I know you probably wrote somewhere the type, but what kind of fence are you having put in (wood/chain link)?
I would lovelovelove to have a fence too.

I don’t know exactly what you call it. It’s cedar, I think, and it’ll look something like this.

If you’re using cedar, make sure that the fasteners they used are non-corrosive (coated, aluminium or stainless steel) or they will be affected by the natural oils and acids in the wood and will break down over time (you will see streaking and staining, and they will need to be replaced).
