My husband definately deals with that. Especially the past few months, when he would come home from work and have to do homework for his master's degree classes nights and weekends. Luckily he has a new job where he gets to work on his homework during the day...

I was a nanny before having our daughter. When I did the math and realized that on weekdays I spent more time with the kid than his parents (about equal time if you count the weekends), I knew I couldn't leave my kids with somebody else that long. Especially if it wasn't a grandparent/relative. For me it just wasn't an option. So I'm a stay-at-home mom. Yeah, money is tight, but I'd rather spend quality time with my kid than have expensive cars/house/electronics/etc. Plus, I can run errands during the day, leaving more quality family time with/for my husband and kid.

I'm not knocking working parents, I realize every person's priorities and situation is different. It's just how it is for me. You're really lucky that you get to bring her to work. It's the best of both worlds!
