		<description>When you hold both ends and are looking down at them the colors should be the same. A crossover cable will switch two of the wires from one end to the other. A crossover cable would be used for linking two hubs when one did not have a port specific for uplinking. A crossover cable could also be used to connect two computers without networking equipment between them (aside from the ethernet cards).

Need the actually standard colors et al?</description>
