I relented tonight and let Jane watch American Idol. Why? Because the best reasons I could come up with - that it’s trash and that I pay the bills - were weak, weak, weak.
She made it 15 minutes.
J: Ok, you can watch what you want. I’m leaving.
Me: What made you change your mind?
J: It’s boring!
Me: Yup. And none of them can sing.
J: I know!
