Almost the new year

Apparently no one celebrates New Year’s Eve in this family. Funny how I didn’t know that until now.
We never exactly celebrated it much, either, but I do want to be awake for it. Just ’cause, I guess.
But it looks like I’ll be watching the ball drop by myself this year.
